The bottom line
Phuong Hoang Hotel Mo Lao delivers the essentials at a budget price, but it's not a place that wows. It works if you need a simple room near the Museum of Ethnology and have a car. The limited reviews and restrictive check-in window mean it suits flexible, self-sufficient travellers more than those expecting a polished stay.
7.7A functional, budget pick for Hanoi's Ha Dong area.
